Is there a way to see selected turret stats in build mode?

Exchanging turrets is becoming a terrible pain to manage especially if i have like 16 of them.

Try 30+ turrets.  Only way I've seen to do it is remember where ya put stuff and/or yank everything off and replace them all each time to redo turrets.

I would agree this is currently a pain.  Basically you have to take them all off and then put the ones you want (better one) back on...

I literally was just thinking this exact same thing! It would be a HUGE QOL improvement to see the stats while selected so I don't have to rip them all off trying to get a better one on without removing already good turrets. I really hope this will be implemented!

I color code them based on the rarity, that way I know that I definitely need to replace lower quality crap. Since you can't paint the turrets, I paint the base or some block near the turret.

 

But I'm pretty sure that the ability to view selected turrets stats is a missing feature, since if you click on blocks, it shows the dimensions and what block and material it is.

I agree it needs work, tooltips, favorited and trashed, more visual distinctions, color codes and all.

Pressing P still brings up the ship tab while in build mode. That is the only way currently to see the stats of any mounted turret, regardless of build mode or not.
