Safe Mode block deletion bug

This is rather annoying to run into.  For some strange reason safe mode is preventing me from deleting blocks I've placed and when I turn it off out of annoyance to delete the selected blocks it wipes all the blocks on the ship. >_>  No idea what's going on here either.  This is in the demo version.

Safe mode is designed to prevent any deletion which includes the root block of your ship. Now, if it prevents the deletion of any single block, that's a problem. It's unclear if this is the case. (Also, I'm not a dev, sorry)

Safe mode prevents you from deleting more than the blocks you selected. If you have a ship with blocks like this:

 

xxxxxxyxxxxxxx

 

and you delete block y, then the game can't to anything but delete either all the blocks left or right of block y, depending on where the root block of your ship is. Safe mode prevented you from doing that. Make sure the two parts that are connected with the block you want to delete touch each other somewhere else, and you can safely remove it.
