Maximum speed error after using hyperspace

I get maximum speed error when I use hyperspace

1.00001e + 008m / s is displayed. I cannot control it.

What should I do?

Do you have the Velocity Security Control Bypass System Module Upgrade installed? This makes your maximum velocity near infinite, which is why you could be seeing that strange-looking value as the max velocity. It's scientific notation for 100 million meters per second. (Yah, that's pretty fast: 30% light speed fast, in fact. You should see some weird things starting to happen at those speeds.)
