Ravien Posted July 12, 2017 Share Posted July 12, 2017 If you can find a scrapyard, it's definitely worth the money for the salvage license. Aim for the giant ships with the exposed generator and battery blocks and you can easily get 30,000-50,000 of a resource within a minute. Much faster than mining or looking for pirate/alien wrecks, though not as fun and you don't get many modules or turrets out of salvage yards. WSY Posted July 12, 2017 Share Posted July 12, 2017 I have found two sectors with abandoned stations. One was a empty sector with a solar station, wow did that have a butt load of resources. Another was asteroid field with a more heavily armored or thicker station, it also provided quite a bit. Came across both on the quest -rest in spoiler that took me halfway across the outer edges of the Galaxy for the moth balled fleet from the core.
