Shipyard with no location to dock to interact with it

I was three sectors away, I used my Trade Module and say that they needed some Solar Cells. So I bought them flew here and now there is no visible Docking ring\port on this Repair Dock.

Is there a trick or was it perhaps damaged off?

I have touched it with my ship hoping that getting close would allow me to dock.

They were broken off and unfortunately, dont yet regrow over time. Theres a mod that allows for docking at a station when further away, it might allow for docking when the docking clamps are gone too.

yeah it's a known issue that has a high priority to be fixed

Good to know, sad, because I spend all my money and now can't sell it and am too slow and weak to go anywhere else.

But such as life with a beta.  Still a great game.

Lesson learned.

Save half your money.
